Used mainly by professional photographers and keen amateurs the Digital SLR is the ultimate digital camera for most people.

Course Topics

• A full explanation of the dSLR menu system

• When to use the different options for best results

• A look at some of the accessories available for the dSLR including different lenses

• When and how to use the built in flash

• When and how to use external flash

• The benefits of using a tripod and when it would be advisable to do so

• A brief introduction to camera RAW

• Getting your photos onto computer and ensuring they are safely stored

• Burning CDs and DVDs

• If time permits, a brief introduction to photo editing on the computer

No prior knowledge is assumed for this course
